Wacom Bamboo

When I chose Universitas Indonesia instead of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara last year, I have a condition that my family have to deal with. I really didn't enjoy going to UI because I still want to study art and design. I'm majoring Indonesian Studies, it basically teaches us about Indonesia's culture and world of literature, which made me crazy because I don't read books that often. So, in the middle of an uncomfortable reality, I made a deal. They have to support and accept that I want to study design, so I demand many things. Laptop, camera, design courses. Now, Wacom wasn't in the list, but somehow they made it as a gift. They really are, supportive.

Wacom Bamboo. I decide not to look up the price because it would make me guilty. In high school, I swore to myself that I would buy a Wacom. Wacom Cintiq was my target, but it's too expensive. Surprise surprise, I got Wacom Bamboo as a gift. Well, I guess thanks to my family, especially Pakde, for being so supportive.

Goresan Warna dari Iblis

Saya juga pernah ke sana. Wujudnya penuh warna, namun akalnya merugikan. Ia bisikkan bayang-bayang kesuksesan, saya pun mulai menggoreskan tipuan akan masa depan. Betapa hebatnya ia membuat saya mabuk akan warna. Kesialan adalah saat di mana warna-warna itu berubah menjadi hitam. Barulah saya menyadarinya, Iblis membuat warna hitam terlihat seperti berlian. Saya ditipu Iblis.

Saya kira dua kota adalah hal yang sah. Satu tempat aku terlahir telanjang dan satu tempat lagi aku ditelanjangkan dunia. Dua warna itu dahulu saya goreskan di atas robekan-robekan kertas yang kemudian terbakar menjadi abu. Ah, warna-warna itu pun salah. Hanya satu hitam yang masih saya sentuh. Kulewati hari-hari bersama tangisan pilu. Iblis pun iba.

Saya tahu, pada saat itulah saya kembali melihat warna-warna. Nyatanya, Iblis menjadikan hitam sebagai landasan untuk terbang kembali. Bukan warna yang sama, tetapi tetap saja, warna. Saya tertawa bersama Iblis dan memohon maaf kepada Tuhan. Saya berkata, "saya masih di sini, mensyukuri kelok kehidupan".

first of all, I'd like to say that I'm 100% happy because I just got my package from Amazon.com! yes, I bought "The Contract with God Trilogy". you can tell how happy I am, because I'm really grateful with this! Will Eisner is no joke, Eisner Award isn't just a name. his books really, really, really gave me goosebumps. I could burst into tears just by reading the first chapter of "A Contract with God" and my heart stopped when I read "A Life Force". wah really, it's not that I'm too much on this. the books are really that great.

my second happiness is also in the house! yes, I've spent too much money this time hahahaha. but it really worth the sacrifice. Mr. Taxi by Girls' Generation is in the house, baby! I was going to burst into tears too when I hold this DVD package. ohmy~ truly daebak. finally I got their discography! ah, I'm gonna start to collect all of them! wish me luck yeeeu~
